Change

Change starts with one action – whether it’s stepping out the door to go for a run or opening a learning app. But it all has to start somewhere. People have tendency to get attached to status quo. But if you want to accomplish anything, you have to get moving!

Some projects may become easier with passing of time, as new information rolls in or technology is developed. But if you want to work on yourself, do it now. You aren’t getting any younger! I usually think about this quote more in terms of that little leak that you can’t get around to fixing. Today, it’s little, but if left unattended, it will turn into a huge break. Sadly, the metaphor holds true for your health, fitness and all other aspects of life. If you want to enact a meaningful change, it will be easier if you start today. Not tomorrow (you know, the busiest day of the week, where all your projects live 😉)

A great example for this is delaying starting to work out regularly. As your body ages, your joints will stiffen and there is a chance of developing health problems due to inactivity. Start today, before your fitness goals get even further away.
