In cooking, there is a concept of mise-en-place, which basically means making sure you have all the ingredients you need and that your station is organized. I think our life should be like the kitchen: make sure you have everything you need to make what you want to. After all, your results are driven by your inputs.
Having said that: don’t spend all your time on organizing. At some point, you have to decide it’s ‘good enough’ and take a plunge!
